Dave’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, including contract disputes, creditors’ remedies, fraud, shareholders’ rights and defamation.

Dave routinely acts as counsel for individuals, entrepreneurs, lenders and businesses of all sizes and has represented his clients’ interests at all levels of court in British Columbia.  

In addition to representing clients at trial, Dave has significant experience obtaining urgent injunctions, including asset freezing orders in the context of fraud claims and restraining orders in the context of defamation and online harassment claims.

Dave is a contributing author to the Creditors’ Remedies Manual published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC and an annual guest lecturer on creditors’ remedies at the Allard Hall School of Law (University of British Columbia).

Dave regularly acts as collection counsel for lawyers and law firms in fee disputes with their clients.

Having obtained an undergraduate degree in Chinese Language, Dave is fluent in Mandarin.
